About a week ago, I got a very neat surprise in the mail. MonkeyPig sent me these rabbit-shaped salt and pepper mills. Super, super cute! You
grab the rabbits by their ears* and you squeeze the ears together to grind the pepper and salt. They work really well! As you can see, the pepper is almost gone. Since getting the salt and pepper rabbits (ha! Sounds just like salt and pepper shrimp except it's salt and pepper rabbit in this case--"tsieu yeem toh"), we've cooked more than normal. We've used the rabbits in preparing steaks, spaghetti, burgers, and eggs.
Thanks, MonkeyPig!
*note: You should
never grab a real bunny by its ears.
for some strange reason, i just can't seem to wrap my head around 'monkey pig.'
ReplyDeletei can picture a centaur, elephant man, bearded lady, the grape ape, spiderman, and even quetzalcoatl for that matter. but for some reason i just can't envision a monkey-pig.

MonkeyPigs are rare indeed. They prefer the wilderness but you can sometimes find them attending medical conferences.
ReplyDeleteThough rare, but both Monkey and Pig have been used in restoring health. So MonkeyPig is a valuable creature indeed. I'm not just saying that because i know her. The Real PIG wah toh
ReplyDeleteMonkey pig can be a gourmet dish from ancient China, can be a wilderness survivor - the monkey part provide the work and the pig part provide the fuel. Most importantly, monkeyPig has several adapter paws to meet life's obstacles. MP
ReplyDeleteOmg, that last line cracked me up. So many inside jokes today!
